Benefits of Stretching

Daily stretching is great for the body and the mind, helping you lengthen tight muscles to correct posture, increasing blood and nutrient supply to decrease soreness, and releasing physical and mental tension. For those under 40, 30 second stretch holds will suffice, but as we grow older our muscles are less pliable, so hold them for 60 seconds.
